PJ6/G3TXF
QRV : PJ6/G3TXF on 30m - 17m - 12m CW until Friday Dec 11 and then QRV on 10m during the ARRL 10m Contest at the weekend (12-13 Dec).
QTH : QTH is on North-East side of the tiny mountainous island of Saba. The take-off to Europe is excellent. There's a 300m drop from the antenna straight into the sea towards Europe. Using simple horizontal wire dipoles. However to the USA and Japan (SP) the take-off is completely blocked by a 200m hill. Nobody west of VO1 can hear me in North America! And working JA (only on 30m) is limited to a few QSOs on the Long-Path. The QTH on this side of the island is just ideal for Europe (Middle East and Africa) but hopeless for the rest of the world!
QSL : QSL Requests please only via OQRS. No letters in the post, no cards through the Bureau. Use OQRS to request either Direct or Bureau cards. OQRS is the simplest, quickest and cheapest for either Direct or Bureau!
QRT : Monday 14 Dec at 1500z : 6,685 CW QSOs in just over six days.
SR/SS: 10:44Z / 22:02Z Last QSO in database: 2015-12-14 15:00:16
